Every day I see my beloved Talia grow, I am reminded of her mother, my beautiful flower. She truly has inherited her beauty.
My thoughts today return to Talia, and how she is fairing in her new line of work. The world she has chosen to hide in is as vicious as it’s underbelly, it simply dresses nicer.
Gotham is rebuilding after the madman’s orchestration of chaos, he came close, but it appears Wayne has chosen to make himself a martyr, to save the image of Gotham’s White Knight.
Whether he continues in his “crusade” or he drops the mantle is to be seen. My eyes in Gotham will continue to watch and wait, for eventually, a storm will come that not even for all of his technology, he will not be able to stand against it.
ooc; As some of you know, I run both blogs for Bane and Ra’s, and this moment is something I’ve pondered over for some time since we’ve all been preparing for the events of the Dark Knight Rises.
In regards to Nolan’s given continuity and how he’s probably going to handle things, I think we’re going to see Ra’s mostly in flashback, both young and old with his daughter Talia and of course with Bruce.
In that respect, having Ra’s blog function mostly as a flashback for the time being is beneficial to that story and characterization. I don’t know if things will change after the movie premieres, but right now I think I’m going with the safest option and more realistic to the films.
As for having Bane kill him, the reasoning was right within the posts, we all know the league is somehow involved in the events of the final film, they could be working for Bane himself (hence why his attacks are so organized).
For those who are saddened by the departure of my Ra’s, don’t be, if any player so chooses to have a flashback moment with him, all they need to do is just send me a message and I’ll hop on here.
Thank you all for your understanding,
Ras/Bane.
To whom it may concern;
If you are happening upon this, it is most likely that my time has come at the hands of the man in the mask. I cannot say I did not forsee this, his global conquest has only been matched by the sheer number of the league of shadows. I do not have much time left, but I will address a choice number of people.
To my Beloved Talia; Stay strong my dear, I have watched you grow into a beautiful woman and have cherished the time I had with you. Not many fathers have grown old to see their daughters succeed their work, but I am proud of your accomplishments. Remember what I have taught you.
To my “Grandson” Damian; you are as much my heir as Talia is. I see the burning determination of my bloodline in your eyes, and I would be proud to have been your direct blood relative. Stand firm in what you have learned and your beliefs, it is what makes you strong.
To Mr. Pennyworth and Mr. Fox; As a fellow mentor to Bruce, I must say you both have done a fine job raising him into the man he is today. If circumstances were different, perhaps we could have regaled ourselves on life experiences.
To Ms. Kyle; Stay sharp and keep your eyes open, Gotham may very well surprise you.
To Doctor Quinzel; It has been a great pleasure conversing with someone of your wit and intelligence. Mind your cracks as well as those within Bruce.
To Bruce; You and I will never see eye to eye, I understand this as the end draws near. Do as you will, your rather optimistic world view has proven to be a nuisance to myself and others, perhaps it will dampen the blows to come.
To everyone reading this, I hope this day finds you well, as well as the days to come.

There is an old Buddhist proverb, one that may help you in the coming days.
““The man who conquers himself is superior to him who conquers a thousand men in battle.”“
Thank you. I will remember that.
If I may, there is a Yiddish saying. “Hoping and waiting makes fools out of clever people.”
I think the time has passed us by on both counts.
Take care, sir.
אלוהים יברך אותך ולשמור אותך
Do not worry for me, Harleen.
I knew it was only a matter of time and waiting.
We have our differences, sir, but at the end of all things, I do wish you well.
